GLOVE updates the design of the Keycap Package

ABOUT DESIGN

The figure of Tiger has a deeply and strong image in Chinese Folk custom. By adding rich culture meanings generation by generation, the image of tiger is simplified and symbolized by Chinese people for Exorcism and Benediction.

As Tiger is given an image and meaning as scaring away bad evils and guarding the house, Chinese people usually make their wares and articles with a tiger face. In Folk custom, the Tiger is treated as a Child guardian. Children wear tiger-head hats and shoes, sleeps on tiger pillows. Therefore, the image of Tiger is designed powerful and lovely. It carries people’s wish to their children that to grow up like tiger and keep healthy and strong. 

Based on the above concept, GLOVE  designs the tiger novelties like the following picture.

The yellow is close to the colour in SA 00 set by Domikey.

The white is close to the normal PBT warm white.

The coffee colour is close to the MOD kit colour in Chocolate theme keyset.

PLAYING WITH TIGER KEYCAPS

- Dual usages of 1.5u Keycap

Two 1.5u lucky cloud Novelties are able to use as Tab key and backslash key.

- TIGER-T Coffee Transparent keycap

The craft isn’t very clear in render image, the final keycap is similar to SA APES Black transparent keycap.

 When you buy Yellow Tiger All in one or White Tiger All in one, you are able to combine and assemble two keyboards with different layouts.

As SA APES Keycaps, SA Tiger keycaps also has an associated switch that Kailh makes. 

Kailh Amber Switch

Amber switch is linear switch sharing same module of KAILH MASTER switch series. The upper cover is PC plastic, the stem and the lower cover are POM plastic. The switch features long springs and its force weight designs to 45g. The final switch tech data and touch feeling will be updated when sample is produced.
