ABOUT DESIGN
The SORD M-5 was a portable computer introduced in 1982 by a Japanese computer manufacturer named SORD. It was sold alongside a matching game controller, earning it the nickname "the earliest gaming laptop." Even after more than 40 years, it still manages to captivate with its striking design.
Featuring a deep green-gray panel, a light gray top cover, and a bright yellow bottom panel, along with keycaps adorned with root characters, the SORD M-5 exudes the distinctive aesthetic charm of 1980s product design.
